Do I need to do anything before using these lights for the first time?
Yes — press and hold the ON button in direct sunlight to activate the light for initial charging. Note that the light will not charge while it is switched off, so ensure it is turned on during the first charge.
Will these lights charge on cloudy days?
Solar panels work best in direct sunlight. On overcast days charging is reduced, which may shorten the runtime that night. Positioning the panel at 45° facing south maximises energy capture throughout the year.
Can I use these near street lights or other bright light sources?
It is best to install them away from strong artificial light sources. Nearby streetlights or security lights may trick the sensor into thinking it is still daytime and prevent the lights from switching on automatically.
How many lights are included per pack?
You can choose from 1, 2 or 4 lights per order using the quantity option at checkout. Each unit operates independently with its own solar panel.
