Do these solar path lights work in cloudy or overcast conditions?
Yes — the amorphous silicon solar panel is designed to charge even in diffuse or indirect sunlight. Performance may be reduced on very heavily overcast days, but the 600mAh Ni-MH battery retains enough charge for several hours of illumination each night.
Can I mount them on a round fence rail or post?
The lights are designed for flat horizontal and vertical surfaces. For best results, mount on a flat section of fence, balcony railing or wall using the included screws or double-sided adhesive tape.
Do I need to turn them on and off manually?
No — the integrated dusk-to-dawn light sensor handles everything automatically. The lights switch on at dusk and off at sunrise without any manual intervention.
How many lights do I need for a standard garden fence?
This depends on your fence length and desired light spacing. As a guide, one light every 1–1.5 metres provides a pleasant ambient glow. Multiple pack sizes are available above so you can choose the quantity that suits your space.
